Megan specializes in employment matters, including defending companies against allegations of civil rights and employment law violations. In addition, she drafts and revises employee handbooks, policies and procedures, and counsels companies on how to avoid litigation by complying with various state and federal employment statutes, such as the WARN Act, ADA, Title VII, and FLSA.

Born and raised in Southern California, Megan majored in Psychology at UC Berkeley before deciding to attend law school at Northwestern. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Atlanta and briefly worked as a staff attorney in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, before spending several years at a labor and employment defense firm.

Since joining Elarbee Thompson, Megan has continued to hone her employment litigation practice, including obtaining dismissals of claims by the EEOC on behalf of numerous employers.

An Atlanta transplant, Megan has come to enjoy almost everything about the city except the traffic and humidity. When not working, she loves to bake, take her dog hiking, and track down live music.
