Timothy J. Holdsworth
Partner
Tim strives to find unique solutions for his clients based on their distinct challenges and needs. He represents and advises employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, employee leave issues, wage and hour claims, and violations of non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements.
An Atlanta native, Tim attended the University of Georgia for both undergraduate and law school. After graduating with high honors, Tim clerked for Magistrate Judge Brian K. Epps in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, before moving back to Atlanta and accepting a position at a national litigation firm. There Tim focused on insurance defense for several years until a growing desire to represent individual clients brought him to Elarbee Thompson.
As a Partner at Elarbee Thompson, Tim focuses on building long-lasting relationships with his clients. His practice includes both private and public defense, as well as day-to-day counseling across a variety of matters.
Tim lives in Decatur with his wife, Noelle, their two sons, Logan and Caden, and their dog, Nugget. When not working, you’ll find Tim spending time with his family or watching either Atlanta United or Arsenal play.
