Stan focuses on defending collective actions relating to wage and hour claims and class actions relating to race, gender and age discrimination. He successfully defended a large restaurant chain against a claim of sex discrimination brought by the EEOC and a multi-plaintiff age discrimination against a major paper manufacturer.
Labor Relations
Stan has worked with unionized companies to modify collective bargaining agreements and past practices to address rising healthcare costs and to defend cases regarding modifications to retiree health benefits. He has provided counseling and assistance on plant relocations and consolidations, collective bargaining and strikes.
Complex Litigation
Stan represented a large company in a fraud/negligence case involving professional liability. He works within the firm’s Complex Litigation Group handling other professional liability, directors and officers liability, errors and omission claims, as well as high-value commercial litigation.
Unfair Competition
Stan respects the businesses his clients have built and works to protect their interest by assisting them with matters involving a variety of unfair competition claims, such as violations of non-compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference and RICO.
