Brent D. Wasser
Attorney
Brent’s practice is focused on providing counsel to corporate clients regarding employment law, business litigation and services agreements, always with the goal of understanding and facilitating his clients’ business objectives.
Brent has extensive, nationwide experience in helping companies draft non-compete agreements and other restrictive covenants. Along those lines, he also assists clients in the defense and prosecution of restrictive covenant claims.
Specific to employment law, Brent defends corporate clients in lawsuits alleging violations of federal employment laws like Title VII, the ADA, and the FLSA. Additionally, as a member of the firm’s complex litigation group, Brent represents clients across a broad spectrum of high-stakes civil litigation cases. Brent also frequently represents companies in their day-to-day contract negotiations, serving many clients in the role of “outside in-house counsel.”
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Brent is a third-generation labor and employment attorney. He attended the University of Georgia for both undergraduate and law school before returning to Atlanta to begin his career as an immigration attorney. After practicing corporate immigration law and general business litigation, Brent joined Elarbee Thompson in 2015, where he is now a Partner.
Outside of work, Brent spends as much time as he can with his wife, Raleigh, and their two daughters. During his brief time as an immigration attorney, Brent specialized in Australian immigration and to this day, his Australian accent is very convincing – or so he says.
